, born 29 Mar 1755 at Haverhill, Mass., the son of John and Anne (Swett) Hazen, died 29 Jan 1828. He married, 2 Sep 1787 at Haverhill, Priscilla McKinstry, born 25 Sep 1765 at Haverhill, the daughter of Dr. William and Priscilla (Leonard) McKinstry, died 1 Aug 1842. The family came to NB in 1774 with uncle William Hazen and by 1785 were settled at Oromocto, Burton Parish, Sunbury County, NB.

William Hazen, born 17 Jul 1738 in Haverhill, MA, was the son of Moses and Abigail (White) Hazen. He died 23 Mar 1814. He married, 19 Jul 1764 at Haverhill, Sarah LeBaron, born 22 Feb 1748/9 at Plymouth, MA, daughter of Dr. Joseph and Sarah (Leonard) LeBaron. She died 3 Apr 1823. William formed a business partnership with Richard Simonds and James White and settled, in 1773 at Portland Point, Saint John, NB.
