, born c1820 in County Tipperary, Ireland, the son of James and Margaret Howe, died 23 May 1895 in Saint John. He came to NB in 1836 with his family and settled in Chatham, Northumberland County. He married, in 1843, Margaret Tweedy, born c1821 in Ireland, the daughter of James and Elizabeth (Duke) Tweedy of Williamstown, NB.
