Laurence Hughes
, (1801-1870)born Keggall, Killevy Parish, County Armagh, Ireland. Son of Thomas and Maryann Hughes, arrived in New Brunswick 1816. In 1832 he married, in St. Dunstand’s Church, Fredericton, Rosanna Gormley (1799 – 1894), daughter of Patrick and Sarah Gormley of Clones Parish, County Monaghan, Ireland.
