IRVIN:

Joseph Irvin
was born in Northern Ireland. He came to NB in the early 1800’s and first settled at Point de Bute, then at Tidnish, Westmorland County. He married Ann Tingley and had seven sons and three daughters.

Thomas Irvin was born c1795 in Ireland and died after 1839. He married Margaret Jane Bell, born before 17 Aug 1796 at Down Patrick, County Down, Ireland, the daughter of John and Jane (Black) Bell. She died 6 Apr 1883. They came to NB in 1820 and first settled at St. Andrews, then in 1836 moved to Little Ridge, Saint James Parish, Charlotte County.
