David Lynch, born 17 May 1836 in County Derry, Ireland, was the son of Patrick Lynch who came to NB in the 1840’s and settled in Saint John. David married Mary Ann Mahoney and they had eleven children.

Timothy Lynch, born in Ireland, died in 1908. He came from Ireland to NB with his parents who settled on the Taxis River in Northumberland County. Timothy settled in Fredericton, York County, married (1st) – and had three children. He married (2nd) – and raised a second family.
