John O’Brien was born in Ireland. He came to NS and settled at Windsor. He married Susan Sivewright of Huguenot descent. The family came to NB and settled at St. George, Charlotte County.
son, James O’Brien b. 20 Feb 1834 at Windsor, NS, d. 8 Jul 1922, m. 20 Sep 1857 Statira E. Nutter and had four sons and six daughters.

John O’Brien, born 1790 in Waterford, Ireland, died 6 Mar 1875. He came to NB and settled at Nelson, Northumberland County. He married (1st) Miss O’Brien and had four children. He married (2nd) Mary Alward of Kilkenny, Ireland. They had four children, the oldest being John O’Brien Jr. b. 20 Feb 1846 at Nelson, NB, d. 20 Oct 1917, m. 15 Oct 1890 Lavinia McPeake of Fredericton, born 1862, d. 25 Aug 1948, d/o Patrick McPeake: had two sons.

William O’Brien, born in Ireland, settled on Pollet River, Westmorland County by 1796. His son John O’Brien occupied the land until 1900.
