     The Irish Room library in Fredericton is open to the public Thursdays and Saturdays, from 10 am - 2 pm or by appointment. Everyone welcome! Lots of books and other interesting items. Entrance and parking at back off Devon Ave. Press the door buzzer located on the brick wall to the left of the door and someone unlocks the door (it clicks). 2nd fl Gibson Mem.   • Freddy Celtic Session

    "It’s time to mark the date and get ready for Irish and Celtic Sessions.

    Saturday Sept 30 at York Count Cider!
    12:30-2:30 - Slow to medium session. All celtic music welcomed. All instruments, too. If you have a celtic song, belt it out and some might sing along. If it’s your first time, ask to join our slow-medium private Facebook group where we post our music and more.
    Clear the seats at 2:30 sharp so the next session players can get in and set up.
    3:00-5:30 – Moderate /Fast session is essentially a Traditional Irish Session with a few Scottish, French, Cape Breton tunes and an occasional song. Come and see if this is a good fit for you and share a tune with us. A tune list can be provided if you are new.
    Between the 2 sessions, there is a place for everyone to join, share and enjoy a wide range of Celtic music.
    If in doubt about what session is best for you, feel free to reach out and ask.
    Let’s make it a wonderful year and grow our community of celtic music players and…welcome all who just want to come along to listen and be in good company!"
